Fireside Farm
Fireside Farm says farewell for now. It’s with great sadness that we announce Fireside Farm’s decision to let go of their farm dreams this fall. We will continue to sell their lamb products until they sell out.
A note from Fireside Farm:
Hello loyal egg customers and wonderful friends,
We want to take a moment to thank you for your constant support of Fireside Farm through the rough patches and memorable milestones! It’s been over eight years of bringing pasture raised products to the community with a goal to better our local food system. Thank you for finding the value in that endeavor with us!
Today we are letting you know that Fireside is coming to a final close, a sentence we hoped we would never be stating. After the month of September, we will no longer be providing egg products and at the conclusion of 2025, we will no longer be providing lamb products. Please know that you were the driving force in our success over the years and we are so grateful to have had your commitment to our business.
If our farm comes back to life in future years, we will look forward to keeping you in the loop and a part of the journey with us!
Thank you for your understanding as we navigate this hardship.
All our love,
Jim and Catie
Jim and Catie King manage their farming operation in the rolling hills of Bath County, Virginia. The lamb was rotationally grazed throughout the pastures and woods to emulate their natural foraging patterns while improving soil health and water retention. Their supplemental animal feed is sourced from a certified non-GMO feed mill, Sunrise Farms, in Stuarts Draft, VA.
Their grass fed lamb is processed by Smith Valley Meats and is also available for retail and wholesale markets.
Fireside utilizes regenerative practices to bring highly nutritious, humanly raised and processed, and local food to your table!
